The use of slang has always peaked my interest, and I love talking about the association of using “ghetto” / “improper” dialect and how it typically isn’t perceived as “educated” or “professional”. I chose to talk about the word “Mary-Jane”, and the history which it stems from, as well as the modern connotation of the word.
